The members of New Shilling are four of the most sought-after Celtic musicians in the Pacific Northwest, known for their inventive, fun and exceptional musicianship. All the members played in the fondly-recalled Full Shilling, (including co-founder Peter Yeates remembered by those in the Midwest as a member of The Old Triangle in the early 80’) and have played together in various combinations over the years; it seemed a natural to put this group together. Their sound encompasses everything from old traditional ballads to wild new original tunes and maybe a little funk thrown in for good measure. |
