___________________ Few bands can communicate Irish music’s great range of emotions as well as Leahys Luck. With passionate vocals and a talent for conveying the essence of Ireland, this Milwaukee-based band has been playing traditional and popular Irish songs throughout the Midwest for more than seven years. They have been featured at Milwaukee’s Irish Fest (the worlds largest Irish festival), the Quad Cities’ Erin Feis, Chicago’s Gaelic Park and performed at many other festivals, concerts, and gatherings throughout the Midwest. One feature that makes this talented group unique is that its members are all family. Brothers Tom and Brian Leahy front the band with bass, guitar, and vocals. Brian’s daughters Michelle, Sarah, and Caitlin play violin, tin whistle, flute, and add vocals. Tom’s daughter, Maura sings and plays accordion and keyboards, and his son Evan plays the bodhran. They also include three Irish dancers in their concert performances.
A few of the CMA board members went to Irish Fest last summer and were amazed by the band performance and their personalities. This is a band well worth seeing! Tickets are available now!
