The Old TrangleFebruary 6 was one fine night to remember. It all started at 7:30 pm when the Iowa Scottish Heritage Pipes & Drums made their way in procession from the back of the house to the front of the stage. The band played beautifully as they astonished the crowd with their skill and precision. CMA member, Bob Murphy then came on stage and helped us remember the old days when the Triangle used to play at Colorado Feed & Grain and proceeded to introduced the Old Triangle. Pete, Mike & Steve started off the set with "Windy City". The band sounded even better than they did in the past! They played three sets that included such favorite songs as "Jack of All Trades", "Streets of London" and "Honor Bright" just to name a few. The concert ended with a bang as Tom Mulvehill brought his pipes on stage and did a version of "Leaving of Liverpool" with the boys. |
